Handmade Solid White Oak Coffee Table

This coffee table is handcrafted from solid American White Oak in my workshop based in Surrey, UK.

The timber is carefully selected to create a balanced, cohesive appearance before being precision cut, jointed, glued and finished entirely by hand.

Each tabletop is sanded to a smooth finish before receiving one coat of Danish oil to enhance the richness of the oak. It is then sealed with two coats of oil-based polyurethane, providing long-lasting protection while preserving the natural beauty of the timber.

Every table is built to order, allowing each piece to receive the care and attention it deserves throughout the making process.

Delivery

Free UK delivery is included with every order.

To reduce the risk of damage during transport, the tabletop and legs are shipped separately. The tabletop is carefully packaged by Reigate Woodworks, while the legs are supplied ready for straightforward assembly. Assembly typically takes around 10–15 minutes using the supplied fixings.

Natural Timber

Wood is a natural material, meaning no two tables are ever identical. Grain pattern, colour variation and natural features such as knots, mineral streaks and small character marks will vary from piece to piece, making every table unique while maintaining the same overall design and quality shown in the photographs.

Care

To keep your table looking its best:

• Wipe clean with a soft, damp cloth.
• Avoid prolonged contact with standing water and wipe up spills promptly.
• Do not use harsh chemical cleaners or abrasive pads.
• Use coasters for hot drinks and avoid placing hot cookware directly onto the surface.
• Avoid placing the table next to direct heat sources such as radiators, fireplaces or wood-burning stoves, as excessive heat can cause the timber to dry out and increase the risk of movement or warping.

Returns

I hope you're delighted with your purchase. However, if you change your mind, you may return the table within 14 days of delivery, provided it is returned in its original condition.

Once the table has been received and inspected, a full refund will be issued, minus the cost of return shipping. The customer is responsible for arranging and covering the return postage, and the table should be securely packaged to avoid damage during transit.
