I'm Matty, a woodworker based in Surrey, working from a purpose-built workshop on my family's animal therapy farm.
Every piece is handcrafted individually, from coffee tables and serving trays to cutting boards. Each item begins as carefully selected rough-sawn hardwood before being cut, jointed, glued, shaped, sanded and finished entirely by hand. I work primarily with American Black Walnut, American White Oak and Hard Maple, chosen for their durability, character and natural beauty.
No two pieces are ever exactly alike. The natural variation in grain and colour makes every item unique, while the focus remains the same: creating solid, functional pieces designed for everyday use.
