Made in the UK from solid American Black Walnut. Natural variations in colour and grain mean each board will differ slightly.
The board uses edge-grain construction, with the long grain facing upward. This produces a stable and durable cutting surface suitable for regular food preparation. Edge-grain boards are generally lighter and easier to handle than end-grain boards.

Finish
Each board is finished with multiple coats of pure tung oil to protect the wood and enhance its natural colour. A final coat of beeswax is applied to seal the surface, creating a smooth, food-safe finish.

Optional features
A juice groove can be added on request. Routed into the top face, it is designed to catch liquids during food preparation without reducing usable cutting space.

Care instructions
To maintain the board’s appearance and longevity, periodically apply a food-safe mineral oil or board conditioner when the surface appears dry. Regular oiling helps prevent drying, cracking, and staining.

Hand wash only with warm water and mild soap.
Do not soak the board or leave it sitting in water.
Dry immediately after washing with a towel.
Never place the board in a dishwasher.
Avoid exposing the board to excessive heat or direct sunlight for prolonged periods.
Store flat on a dry surface.

If you change your mind, you may notify us
at reigatewoodworks@gmail.com that you wish to cancel within 14 days of delivery. The cutting board must then be returned within a further 14 days.
The customer is responsible for arranging and paying for return delivery. The board must be securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.
Once the cutting board has been received, a refund will be issued using the original payment method.
