Material

American Black Walnut is known for its rich brown colouring and distinctive natural grain. The edge-grain construction creates a strong, practical cutting surface suitable for regular kitchen use.

Finish

Finished with multiple coats of pure tung oil and a beeswax top coat. This food-safe finish enhances the walnut’s natural colour and helps protect the wood from moisture.

All surfaces and edges have been carefully sanded to create a smooth, comfortable finish.

Care Instructions

Hand wash with warm water and mild soap.

Do not soak or place in a dishwasher.

Dry immediately after washing and store flat in a dry area.

Reapply food-safe mineral oil or board conditioner when the surface begins to look dry.

Avoid prolonged exposure to excessive heat or direct sunlight.

Minor knife marks are normal and will develop naturally with use.
